Where on the Franklin C45 Dynasty 14mm should I add weight, and how much.

I’ve been playing with the Franklin c45 for about a month now and I like the pop and power that it has but am having a hard time finding a good spot to add weight for enhanced sweet spot and control. I’m just trying to find out what is a popular set up for the paddle and what y’all have found works best to make the paddle a well rounded paddle.

Lifetime balls are more fun

Played with a lifetime ball last night outdoors and it was so much fun! Usually play with Franklin x-40s but the LT ball is faster, bounces higher, and is spinnier!

Which is the best ball and why?

My group always has a debate in which ball we prefer and it’s generally come down to Franklin X40s or the Life Time Pro 48 Ball. I personally like the LT balls for how sturdy they are and their consistency. (biased since I play at Life Time) The Franklin’s feel a bit too soft for me. Franklin Paddles kinda mid

Unpopular opinion but Franklin paddles kinda suck and are mediocre. The only reason so many people play with them is because the pros are sponsored by them! I’ve tried so many other brands that are better by a landslide but aren’t used by many pros thus less popular. Franklin paddles also break down so fast I don’t know why theyre still so popular among so many players…

Review: 11SIX24 Hurache X Power 2

First impressions of the 11SIX24 Hurache Power 2 Note: I immediately added 12g (.4oz) to bring the weight up to 8.3oz. This paddle will replace my Joola Hyperion IV 14mm. Highlights: I play a fast high spin game and this paddle felt really good. It made killer topspin approach shots much easier. I was able to move the Franklin X-40 ball around with ease. (I didn't get to try the paddle with the LT Pro ball) My serves were more consistently deep. My slice backhand dink became more aggress...

New Patriquin Paddle?

Anyone know if there's a new Franklin Hayden Patriquin paddle coming out? Looks like the C45 HP series is set to pre-order shipping on 04/23 on Franklin's website. Specs look just like the original C45 HP series - unless I'm missing something. New paddle or inventory issues?

Anyone Have Experience With Franklin Warranty?

I recently became a Franklin Pickleball Ambassador because I really liked the feeling of the C45 Dynasty. I bought it at 50% off and received it last Wednesday. After just 3 light sessions (approx 5 hours of play time) I experienced the top of the edge guard separating from the face of the paddle. I didn’t think it was that big of a deal I just super glued it. 1 session later I felt the paddle drastically change and started experiencing the dreaded crunchy core. All of this sucks even worse sinc...

Anna Leigh Waters Signature C45° Paddle - Aurelius 12.7mm

Why no reviews on this anywhere? Did Franklin not even care to preview with anyone to generate sales? Maybe alw using it is all they need, you could see the domination this weekend with her own vs 14mm I just got my 12.7 and it’s a beast on the courts…. Small sweet spot so I will add some weights to hopefully open it up… amazing paddle

Experiences with Joola's [Franklin X-40 imitation] HC-40 ball

My club, which has a deal with Joola, switched from the Joola Primo to the HC-40. IMO it does a good job playing like an X-40. Feels more consistent than the Primo. I think it's a little less neon-colored / slightly more yellow than an X-40, though it's a nice bright yellow. Any other thoughts / experiences with this ball? I've never played with it outdoors so curious what others' experiences have been like in other environments.

Just got the Perseus V need recommendations

Just picked up the new Perseus V. Was wondering if any of this grip tape or weight tape from dicks sporting goods is worth it? Not sure anyone has a setup video yet on the new V-line but I wanted to maybe run one of those Hesacore or hexacore grips or whatever they’re called. Where do you all get your lead tape from? Where should I put it? Im a beginner to modding paddles. This is my first real paddle purchase after using a cheap Franklin set for 2-3 months

franklin c45 parris todd durability issues

i've been eyeing this paddle for quite some time & based on my research, i feel this paddle might be a good match for my personal preference and play style. HOWEVER, there are a few reviews saying that their C45 (the dynasty version tho) has durability issues, specifically on the edge guard :(( if anyone has this paddle, please let me know if you've experienced/are experiencing the same! i really want to buy it but i don't think it's worth it if it ends up like that after just a few weeks

not using the franklin pickleball

I recently took some risk and bought 50 CORE outdoor pickleball ($1 each). I brought some to the park and let some people try them. Only the top players (top 10%) complain or feel weird about it. Other players especially ladies don't notice the difference. Most people in our park use Franklin x40. If I keep bring these balls, the top players will complain. Also there might be 5% difference which may make people lose game. Not sure what to do with these balls.
