Tossing up between a few paddle's

Hi everyone, so i recently got into pickleball and have really been enjoying myself! I'm quite new to the game and don't know a lot as i'm learning. I usually use the standard paddles they provide at the courts but just recently played a game where i borrowed a Joola Vision CS 14mm paddle and i noticed the dramatic difference in performance! However, when i went instore they said this was a very old paddle. They recommended the Six Zero DBD but they said this was also an old style and now the n...

Using last year’s forgotten tech and still loving it. Does that make me a 🦖🦕?

I’ve been using the GX2 Pro Power since shortly after it debuted in fall 2025. It was widely praised by top reviewers and I loved its consistent, controllable power (with a large sweet spot). Less than a year later, I continue to love it and use it as my main paddle. But I hear next to nothing about it. All of the latest hottest models — Joola V, RPM, Aura, etc etc — continue the transition towards foam cores, at often (welcome) lower price points, but when I look at the core stats / features th...

How long do you give a paddle before deciding if it will be your go to?

Recently purchased the proton peacock as I heard it was pretty good all around. I normally use a JOOLA Agasis and just wanted to try something new. The feel is obviously very different between the two and so I’m trying to decide if it’s worth fully adjusting to the proton or not. It just doesn’t feel as consistent to me compared to my Agasis or the pro IV. I love the design and the spin is phenomenal; You can definitely shape the ball really well, but drops and soft game have been difficult to a...

The new Joola R4lly shoe

I just saw a few YouTube videos on it and looked it up and I'm really contemplating on getting it. There is some carbon fiber shank on the shoe for better lateral movement. I'm very curious on if it really makes a noticeable difference on lateral movement. This shoe reminds me of the Nike Alphafly marathon shoe in which they put a piece of metal in the shoe to make you somewhat faster. I read it was banned in marathons so it must be working. I'm not a Joola person trying to shill the shoe or ...

Review on JOOLA PERSEUS HEAT VISION 16 MM

Hi all, I’m thinking about picking up the JOOLA Perseus Heat Vision 16mm, but I haven’t seen much discussion or many reviews on it yet. My main concern is durability, would love to hear from anyone who has used it, especially how it holds up over time. I am planning to use it as my primary paddle for a while, so I want something that will last and not need replacing anytime soon. I usually keep a cheaper paddle for practice to help extend the life of my main one. Any insights would be really...

Most Dangerous/Illegal Paddle You Have Seen?

I'm new to pickleball (about 4 months in) and have recently been learning about "illegal" paddles. I've seen people say paddles like the Ronbus EV2, JOOLA Perseus Mod TA-15, and Diadem Hush are borderline dangerous to play against. So, 2 questions: have you seen any paddles that are even more dangerous to use compared to the ones I've listed, and are the paddles I've listed truly as dangerous as people say they are?

Luzz Glider with Weight is a Joola4 with a wider sweet spot

at stock, the paddle is too light and pretty okay to use. but added weight at 3 and 9 (0.5g/inch tungsten), 4 grams on each side transformed this paddle. it's crazy how no one really talkd about it maybe it's not in your area yet, but outside the design(pink + glider2024? wth?)... it has low swing weight and above average twist weight which means so much room for weight. the balance point is great and even at stock, more than often you'll be hitting your sweet spot(but absolutely needs weight...

The new Joola Pro V is sick…

The New Joolas Pro Vs are sick... Most people at my level and below (I'm a 5.3+ DUPR) for some reason, are still using paddles that don’t give them enough feel or pop. As somebody who needs feel and feedback from my paddle as a former tennis player, it's imperative to me that the paddle I use gives me tremendous feel on the ball. Only then can I know if I need to give the ball more, or if I gave it too much and then I can make precise feel-based adjustments for future shots. The JOOLA lineup ...

Experiences with Joola's [Franklin X-40 imitation] HC-40 ball

My club, which has a deal with Joola, switched from the Joola Primo to the HC-40. IMO it does a good job playing like an X-40. Feels more consistent than the Primo.
