Pickleball was invented in Washington state (USA) in 1965 and has gained popularity especially in the last decade leading it to become the fastest growing sport in the US. It’s especially popular among 55+ age group and retirees in part because of the social and health benefits. It’s also relatively easy to get started, you really just need a good pair of pickleball shoes and a pickleball paddle.

The biggest challenge might be finding a place to play. While there are pickleball courts in almost every major US city, it might be a little tougher to find a court near you in the UK. However, in recent years Pickleball has become more and more popular on this side of the Atlantic with many clubs and courts popping up around the UK.

To help out, we’ve scoured the Internet and put together a map of all the places we could find in the UK to play. We update the map often and if you find any courts that we do not have listed here, please let us know so we can add it.
