Asics Pickleball

In recent years, the company has expanded their product line to include pickleball shoes. The Asics pickleball shoe is designed to provide optimum comfort and support for the game of pickleball. Asics started making pickleball shoes because they saw an opportunity to provide a high-quality product that would appeal to avid pickleball players. While there are many different types of pickleball shoes on the market from various brands, Asics’ entry into this particular category is significant due to the company’s reputation as a leading manufacturer of high-quality athletic footwear. The company uses cutting-edge technology to create their pickleball shoes, which are designed to improve your game by providing better traction and stability.

While most people think of pickleball as a leisurely game, the fact is that it can be quite intense. Because of the way the game is played, there is a lot of stop-and-go motion, which means that your feet will be taking a beating. That’s why it’s important to wear shoes specifically designed for pickleball – they will provide you with the support and cushioning you need to avoid injury and stay comfortable during play. They should have good lateral support. This will help prevent your ankles from rolling when you make quick movements side-to-side during gameplay. They should also have plenty of cushioning in order to absorb shock – this will protect your feet (and knees) from all the impact they endure while playing. Traction is key! You need shoes with good grip so you don’t slip or slide around on the court surface – this could lead to serious injury if you fell wrong. Asics has been able to quickly enter the pickleball market and insert these necessary components into a highly competitive pickleball shoe ” Gel Renma ” due to their well-established brand and resources.

The Asics pickleball shoes for men and woman have been well-received by the pickleball community, and many players say that it has made them feel at home on the pickleball court because the brand has been around for so long. Whether you’re just starting out in pickleball or are an experienced player looking for an edge on your opponents; if you’re after quality pickleball footwear then Asics is definitely worth considering!

What is Asics?

Asics is a Japanese multinational corporation which produces sports equipment designed for a wide range of sports, generally in the higher price bracket. The company was founded in 1949 as Onitsuka Co., Ltd. by Kihachiro Onitsuka, and it began its life manufacturing basketball shoes out of his home in Kobe, Japan during World War II. He chose the name ‘Onitsuka Tiger’ after the native tiger that lived on Mt. Fuji – a strong and resilient animal that he felt symbolized his own ambitions for his business. It took several years before Mr. Onitsuka’s start-up created its first real product: the Type Anjin shoe, based on an existing European design but improved with Mr. Onitsuka’s innovative ideas about arch support and shocks absorption. It was an instant hit with Japanese consumers and by 1955 the company had grown enough to set up its first sales office outside of Kobe, in Osaka.

From there it continued to expand rapidly throughout Asia Pacific; by 1960 it had reached Taiwan and Thailand; by 1963 Malaysia; Australia arrived in 1966; then New Zealand (1970), South Korea (1974) Indonesia (1977), and Singapore (1979). The 1960s were boom years for Onitsuka Tiger. The company’s sales multiplied many times over and it became firmly established as a global player in the sporting goods industry. But this decade also brought great changes to Japan, including economic growth and increasing westernization. These shifts had an impact on fashion trends, both inside and outside of Japan, giving rise to new footwear styles such as ‘the sneaker’. While Onitsuka Tiger was quick to realize the potential of this trend – releasing its own version called the ‘Mexico 66’ in 1966 – it would take until the early 1970s before sneakers became a major part of the company’s business.

The 1980s were a decade of transition for ASICS. The company underwent rapid growth, driven by the success of its sneakers in key markets such as the USA, and expanded into new areas such as children’s footwear and sports apparel. At the same time, it began to focus more on research and development, establishing its first laboratory in Kobe in 1983. This would prove to be a crucial step forward, leading to innovations like GEL – a proprietary shock-absorbing material that would become one of ASICS’ most important technologies.

The 1990s saw ASICS consolidating its position as a global sporting goods brand. It entered into partnerships with major sporting events such as the Olympic Games (1992) and FIFA World Cup™ (1998), while also expanding its product range into new categories such as running shoes and tennis wear. In 1999, ASICS made another significant investment in research with the opening of its Institute of Sport Science (ISS). Located in Kobe, Japan, ISS conducts cutting-edge studies into human movement and biomechanics with the aim of developing products that help athletes perform at their best.

Today, ASICS is a strong and successful global brand with a clear mission: to become the number one brand for sports enthusiasts. It offers a wide range of high-quality products designed for specific sporting activities, and its research-driven approach continues to produce innovative technologies that make ASICS shoes some of the best in the world. They also pioneered the use of gel inserts in sneakers, which provide superior cushioning and support. Today, Asics continues to produce high-quality sporting goods that are used by athletes at all levels – from weekend warriors to professional superstars!

What does Asics stand for?

By 1977, following a period of intense research and development, Onitsuka Tiger had launched two new lines of sneakers that would come to define the company’s future direction: ‘Serrano’ and ‘Leyenda’. It was around this time that Mr. Onitsuka decided to rename his business ‘ASICS’, an acronym based on the Latin phrase anima sana in corpore sano meaning “a sound mind in a sound body”.

This philosophy would go on to guide ASICS’s corporate culture and product development for many years to come. This philosophy is reflected in the brand’s dedication to promoting healthy lifestyles through their products and sponsorships. For example, Asics sponsors several running events around the world each year, including the popular Tokyo Marathon. Asics has always been an innovator in the world of athletic footwear. They were one of the first companies to offer specialized shoes for different sports, such as wrestling and volleyball.

Asics Gel-Renma

Women / Men

When it comes to pickleball, Asics is a name that is synonymous with quality. The Asics GEL-RENMA shoe is no exception and is designed for the player who wants optimum comfort and support while still being able to move quickly around the court. The GEL-RENMA Asics pickleball shoe has been getting a lot of attention lately. People are saying that it’s a great shoe for pickleball and that it’s very comfortable. They’re also saying that the price is fair, especially considering the quality of the shoe. The Asics GEL-RENMA shoe is designed with pickleball players in mind.

It features a comfortable fit, superior cushioning, and a herringbone outsole pattern that provides excellent traction on the court. The GELRENMA also features Asics signature GEL cushioning system in the heel and forefoot for smoother strides and absorption. This provides exceptional shock absorption and comfort, making it ideal for pickleball players who are on their feet for long periods of time.

A layer of synthetic leather helps make the shoe more durable. The sockliner, which is dyed using a solution dye process, uses less water and creates fewer carbon emissions than traditional methods. TRUSSTIC™ technology improves the stability of the shoe. The outsole that wraps around the entire shoe and the wider gauge help with lateral movements. The break-in period is not terrible either. It is sure to provide you with the support and traction you need on the court to prevent injury and make quick lateral movements when things get dicey!

This shoe also has a wider version called the Asics Gel Renma Unisex Wide. This shoe features a wide toe box that allows your toes to spread out naturally, as well as ASICS Gel technology in the heel for cushioning and shock absorption. The result is a shoe that‘s both supportive and comfortable, making it ideal for long hours on the court. In addition, the GELRENMA UNISEX WIDE also has good traction to help keep you from slipping during quick movements.
